Okay. So, after about four months of haggling and harrasing by means of the BBB I finally got my measly interface. It was hardly worth the trouble. Really! If I had intended on waiting 4 months to get back to a point where I could record, I would have saved up for a Mbox 2. As it is I got my self a Line 6 Tone Port UX1. This is a major downgrade for me. From a decent PCI interface with a breakout box, Pro quality software (though somewhat dated)and a decent set of mics to a simple USB interface with limited software and no mics. Not that anyone would want to hear me sing ever again.
I'm not knockin' Line 6 Whatsoever. In fact, the thing sounds pretty good and the gate works nicely. I'm really hearing the potential from my new pickups now.
I was a little choked at Music123.com though. I mean 4 months to get an audio interface? that's rediculous! I've ordered stuff from "Joe Blow's Ebay Guitarshop" and it's never taken more than a couple of weeks. So what was the holdup? Aside from mailing it to the wrong postal code and then the wrong address entirely the second time. Seriously!
Anyway plug your ears boys and girls! Prepare yourselves for more haphazard flailings upon poor unsuspecting 6 string guitars.

Ok. So I guess I'm kinda back. I sold all of my gear save two guitars. I have no software. No mics. No interface. No keys. Oh well. what do you do. I'm waiting on product that I ordered months ago and doesn't seem like it will ever come. I'm pathetic....yes I am. If you feel any pity for me whatsoever, feel free to leave me a tip. Either that or stand at a distance and laugh. I can take it. One day I may get back into the frey. Until then, I'll remain a quiet observer. Or, maybe a loud observer at times but still an observer.
Somebody strike me down.

Hey all.
Yup I'm unplugging as of Monday the 30th. I'm removing myself entirely from the net. I'm also removing cable tv from my household. So as much as it was a hard decision, I think it is the right one. I want to spend more time with my family and on teaching my kids. I love this site and have made some friends here. I appreciate you all. I'll be looking forward to seeing some of your names in lights. Thanks to you all for a great experience and some real cool jams.

Well I finally posted something uh...."new". It's been a while. The song is called Passive Agressive. Why? I don't know. The lyrics are kind of agressive. The tune is kind of meloncholy. I have a thing for contradictions(I can't think the word right now).

What can I say? I am very skilled at procrastination. I am working on something or two but it takes me a while to get the motor running. Maybe in another year, I'll have something. In the mean time, it'll have to be jams and collabs for now.

Ok. Well for the sake of filling space I uploaded a few tunes that my younger bro recorded. Okay so he's 33. Anyway He's a teacher and has recently hooked up with a band who are hoping to release a cd by October. I can't mention their name but Let's just say they're heavy. Kinda like heavy metal but more like Heavy Water,as in Radio Active!Anyway the tunes are all classical pieces and simple ones at that but he plays them at a level that not many achieve. He's never gone to a major school like Berkley or Juliard but he's quite familiar with Alexandeer technique. He's taught me much including the woe's of end-gaining. A lesson which I have yet to truly learn. Anyway enough of my ranting! Please have a listen.

Groan......writers block. I've been trying to work on some new material and some old. It's tough goin's though with the kids using me as an obstacle course. Maybe during spring break I'll have some time to grind away at the wheel. Wake me up when we get there.
